Who are you guys? Where did you come from?

We are a product company started by a boutique custom-software development house. Our development company has been running for over 25 years and we wanted to give businesses access to our products without the huge overhead of a bespoke development project.

We have worked with large multi-outlet retail businesses for over 18 years. Some of the brands who have trusted us to build anything from dynamic websites, e-commerce, internal systems and customer-facing sites are Pret A Manger, Itsu, Charles Tyrwhitt, Ikea, Greggs, Coco di Mama, Leon and many more. We pride ourselves on being professional enough to support these kinds of large businesses.

What is Platopus Retail?

Platopus Retail is our family of applications which are designed to help retail businesses be more productive, efficient and gain the kind of software which would normal cost anything from thousands to hundreds of thousands to develop themselves.

As we have stated in the 'Who are you guys' section we have an incredible background in retail software development and over the years have seen that there is much in common between retailers and all of them need the same core management systems; Locations, Products, Website, Displays etc. We built the Platopus Retail platform to allow us to help these businesses quickly get organised and solve problems.
